Took a little break but I’m back with a vid with “great” dance moves. Take note and bust these out at the next wedding you go to.
The Indie artist this time around is Lykke Li who hails from Sweden.

Wow…look at me…I’m back for another consecutive week…AMAZING!
So this week I’ve got Tommy Sparks for ya. He’s out of Sweden and his first album is debuting now in the U.S.
I must admit the song isn’t that great and the video is out of the eighties (bad eighties) but it did bring a smile to my face. Be prepared…at 2:23 the video takes a turn for the worse (if that’s possible).

Hope you enjoyed this week. Stop by next week for more fun.

Yep…it’s been a while but I recently ran across this band and I had to share.
Silversun Pickups is a band out of L.A. and have been around since 2003. This particular song isn’t one of their newer songs (it’s over 2 years old) but it’s a good one.
Silversun Pickups – Lazy Eye

I’ll attempt another post next week but no guarantees.

Hail the Space Shuttle!
The Hubble Telescope has been revived for another 20 years and will never be visited again by humans. Sad [sniff sniff]
What does this Swedish Band have to do with this…not much except the band name is the same as the space agency that brought you the Shuttle.
Spacey and Trippy…stay away from the head shop when viewing!
N.A.S.A. – Gifted
More about the ensemble: N.A.S.A.
That’s all…check back next week for more.

Whoa…where has your CVP fix been????
Busy, busy, but I’m back now (for this week anyway).
So this time around I have an artist who goes by the name of Kutiman.
This video is a crazy mash up of a dozen or so YouTube videos (including audio) to create this one. It’s over 6 minutes long but pretty cool…check it!
Kutiman – I’m New

Hello…I’m back!
I took a break last week, with Easter and Taxes I really haven’t had much free time to sniff out some tunes and post.
This week I have this French Dude who is kind of out there. “Whacked” you might say but Sébastien Tellier definitely has talent to share with the world. His music genre is classified as “French Pop”…Hmmm…didn’t even know that was a genre!
Well, here is one of his more sedate songs which has an interesting video that sucked me in…maybe it will do the same for you.
Sébastien Tellier – La Ritournelle

Hey Gang…it’s back…CVP 2009 second quarter and I’ve a great one for ya! (well in my mind anyway…
)
To kick it off I’ve got a three piece Swedish band that goes by the name of Peter Bjorn and John. Uh…that’s right the first name of each of the band members. Not too original but you could call them PB&J for short…now that’s sweet! (uh…really?)
Don’t try these moves at home…you could pull something! Just whacked!
Peter Bjorn and John – Nothing to Worry About
More on the band: Peter Bjorn and John
Until next week…see ya!

Welcome back and what was old is new again…including Schlitz Beer!
This week I’ve got a band that will make you feel like you’re back in the early 80’s.
The Juan Maclean is an electronic band out of Providence, Rhode Island…U.S.A.!!!!
Fire up your IBM PC, bust out your Walkman and get ready to bop.
The Juan Maclean – One Day
More info on the artist: The Juan Maclean
If you really liked the song you can pick it up FREE from iTunes until the end of the day Monday (3/30/2009).
Well that’s it for this week and this is also the final CVP for Q1 of 2009.
The show continues next week and I’m hoping to have something sweet to kick off Q2! (now if I can only deliver)
